2.3 Configuring the Database Environment

Use the [Database Environment] to add a new database environment,remove or edit an existing one.

The following are the values to be specified in the Database Environment Configuration screen.

mDatabase Environment Namesn

Lists the currently defined database environment names. Double-click a database environment name to see the [Database Environment Configuration] dialog box.

• [Add] button
  
  Adds a new database environment.
  The [Configure a Database] dialog box opens.

• [Remove] button
  
  Removes an existing database environment.
  Have that database environment deleted from a list box before clicking [Remove].

• [Configure] button
  
  Makes edits to an existing database environment.
  The [Database Environment Configuration] dialog box opens.
  Have that database environment selected from a list box before clicking [Configure].
