6.2.32 MOVE-LAST Method

�¡Function

Locates the current row of a recordset on the last row.

�¡Synopsis

INVOKE RECORDSET-A "MOVE-LAST" RETURNING RET-CODE.

�¡Object identifier

RECORDSET-A [attribute:OBJECT REFERENCE FJDB-RECORDSET]

Specifies an object of the FJDB-RECORDSET class.

�¡Return value

RET-CODE [attribute:S9(9) COMP-5]

Returns a value of 0 if the method ends normally; otherwise, returns an error code.

�¡Explanation

An error is returned if a MOVE-LAST method is issued to a null recordset.

If a MOVE-LAST method is issued while data is being updated with an EDIT-RECORD or ADD-NEW-RECORD method, the updated version of data is destroyed.

An error is returned if a MOVE-LAST method is issued to a recordset that MOVE-LAST method cannot be used.(See IS-SCROLLABLE method about conditions that the recordset cannot use MOVE-LAST method)
