Windows 2000 and Windows XP Application Compatibility Tips for Version 3 and 4

If you are using Windows 2000 and Windows XP and have problems making Version 3 or 4 work, we suggest you check out the following link. We can't guarantee that they will work for you, but it should give you the best chance of making things work.

Go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/compatibility/ where you should be able to find the "Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit".

Download the Toolkit and go from there. The file at time of writing is
named act.exe. After installing it, it will likely enable you to run several
programs that may not otherwise be compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

If this does not work, you will have to purchase Version 9.
